The 2022 Audi S3 Sportback brings a mix of agility, power, and refinement to the compact sports car segment. Based on the A3, the S3 takes things up several notches with enhanced performance, a sharper design, and high-quality technology. The 2022 S3 Sportback is visually captivating, with aggressive lines and signature Audi styling. The front sports a larger grille with honeycomb mesh, flanked by sleek Matrix LED headlights, which are standard on this model. It has a low, planted stance with strong character lines along the body, and the quad exhaust pipes and rear diffuser give it an unmistakably sporty look. Despite its sporty character, the S3 Sportback is surprisingly comfortable. The adaptive suspension system absorbs most road imperfections well, though it remains firm enough to deliver the dynamic feedback expected from a performance car. In Comfort mode, it’s a great daily driver, while Dynamic mode brings a sharper, more responsive ride for spirited driving.

With its power and performance, fuel economy isn’t the S3’s strongest point, but it’s respectable for a car in this segment. Expect an average of around 30 mpg in mixed driving conditions, which is reasonable for the amount of performance it offers.
