The 2022 Volkswagen Golf eTSI 1.5 is a mild-hybrid version of VW’s iconic hatchback, offering a blend of efficiency, performance, and modern technology. It sits between conventional petrol and fully electrified models, using 48V mild-hybrid tech to enhance fuel economy and responsiveness.

The 1.5-litre eTSI petrol engine comes with mild-hybrid assistance and produces 150 PS (148 bhp). It’s paired exclusively with a 7-speed DSG automatic transmission, providing seamless power delivery.
Expect 50-55 mpg, thanks to cylinder deactivation and mild-hybrid assistance.
The 48V mild-hybrid system allows for smoother stop-start performance and even coasting with the engine off to save fuel.
The Golf eTSI delivers a refined, effortless drive. The DSG gearbox is responsive, and power delivery is strong across the rev range.

The Golf remains one of the best-built hatchbacks in its class, offering a modern and tech-filled interior.
